Technology and People, fundamental pillars of EIPC – New Culturers Gunea 2024.
Our company is a good example of the evolution and adaptability of Eibar’s businesses: throughout our history, we have transitioned from manufacturing parts for bicycles and ALFA sewing machines to producing complex aluminum, steel, and special alloy components for sectors with extremely high requirements, such as aerospace and industrial. These are standards that only a few can meet, as there are only about 10 companies in Europe that compete with EIPC in our field; the rest are mostly subsidiaries of large American multinationals. This is why aircraft from two of the world’s largest industrial corporations in the aerospace sector, such as AIRBUS and BOEING, are equipped with parts made by us. How is it possible that a small, family-owned company from Eibar is capable of selling directly to clients as prominent as AIRBUS?
Fundamentally, by remaining committed to and consistently working on two core values:
✅ 1) Staying at the forefront of technology. Our line of work requires us to continuously be at the cutting edge of technological developments to meet the demands of our clients.
✅ 2) People. The expertise of our team members is essential, and in our processes, it is impossible to replace certain tasks with technology (AI, robotic automation, etc.). Therefore, people, their knowledge, and their collaboration are the greatest assets of EIPC.
This is what our colleagues at EIPC—Leire Ereño, Iñigo Bollain, Idoia Elorrieta, and Louis San Miguel—spoke about during the New Culturers Gunea 2024 event, which brought together companies and students in their final years of Vocational Training or University studies, organized by ADEGI.
